Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Order Management Specialist is primarily responsible for processing inbound order requests and managing the full order lifecycle to resolve complex issues throughout the order fulfillment process. This role helps make it easier to do business with METTLER TOLEDO by working effectively with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, and other departments to provide world-class service to both internal and external customers. The Order Management Specialist demonstrates METTLER TOLEDO’s values by proactively driving continuous improvement, delivering quality, and performing with integrity. Key responsibilities will include: 
  • Managing inbound inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and order status 
  • Processing orders and order changes accurately and on time in accordance with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements 
  • Determining ship and delivery dates based on inventory, lead times, carrier routing, and customer requirements 
  • Monitoring unshipped orders and follow up to ensure delivery commitments are met 
  • Partnering with internal teams to resolve order issues, shipping concerns, credit holds, and pricing discrepancies 
  • Reviewing order management reports daily and take action to resolve exceptions 
  • Maintaining accurate customer and order data across CRM, sales, and service systems 
  • Supporting customer credits and invoice corrections as needed
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer service role. 
  • CRM experience is a plus. 
  • Attention to detail for both accuracy and content. 
  • Ability to work on-site 4 days a week at our office near Polaris.
