Marketing Segment Executive

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: As a Marketing Segment Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Product Inspection (PI) Division. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth market research to identify target segments and their specific needs. You will then develop and coordinate the creation of sales and training materials tailored to these segments. Additionally, you will oversee and execute marketing campaigns that effectively reach and engage your target audience. By working closely with our sales team and other internal stakeholders, you will ensure that our PI Division's products and services are positioned to meet the unique requirements of each market segment. 

Job Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct detailed market research to identify and understand target segments with global differences.
  • Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform segment strategy on a regular basis (especially for Asian market).
  • Assist in segment profiling and creation of segment related internal sales materials (e.g. segment overviews and segment case studies).
2. Training Preparation & Coordination:
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials for internal teams, ensuring they are aligned with segment marketing goals.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of training sessions, ensuring the participation of relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure all content is well-organized and relevant to the target segments.
3. Campaign Project Management:
  • Oversee and coordinate PI segment and application marketing campaigns from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate timelines, resources, and cross-functional team collaboration with PI Division’s Service Provision Team for campaign execution.
  • Track and report on campaign performance.
4. Sales Tool Creation:
  • Support PI segment related sales tool creation like e.g. Application-2-pager, Value Selling Guides, Case studies to increase internal knowledge and enhance conversion rates. 
  • Proactively select internal information from relevant Stakeholders to create sales materials.
5. Standards, Laws, and Regulations (SLR) Partnership Management:
  • Support activities that result from SLR partnership initiatives 
  • Keep on track with latest segment related SLRs and support Segment Manager in partnership maintenance.
6. Segment Strategy Support:
  • Collaborate with the Segment Marketing Manager to align research findings with overall marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of segment-specific marketing plans for lead generation. 
  • Foster collaboration between departments to maximize the impact of segment-focused strategies.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills for effective communication with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work with a remote global team across different time zones.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a matrix management structure.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Culturally aware and adaptable, ideally with international experience, and open to occasional travel.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience as a Marketing Executive, demonstrating strong intellectual capacity and high energy levels.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage and execute multiple marketing projects successfully, meeting deadlines.
  • Research Skills: Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and market segmentation.
  • Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Communication: Excellent communication and networking skills, comfortable working in a global matrix organization.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Adherence to Guidelines: Ability to work within established corporate guidelines and processes.
  • Domain Knowledge: Quick learner capable of understanding customer applications and the value of Product Inspection technology.

Nice to have:
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite software with emphasis on Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Additional language skills is highly desirable
