Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Good Weighing Practice Competence Center (GWP) has the mission to ensure consistent accuracy of any weighing process and with that, the establishing of a global weighing standard: Good Weighing Practice™. Based on these scientific principles, we developed unique service products. We are an international and agile team, working very close with globally 40 Market Organizations (MO) and internal stakeholders.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a business oriented, dynamic, organized and communicative
Market Manager - Asia Pacific. In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • You will enable and empower Market Organizations in Asia Pacific region to use Good Weighing Practice (GWP) values in front of customers and coach the them to become self-sustainable with the GWP program in both sales and service processes
  • Conduct workshops with Market Organizations to identify and utilize local opportunities with elements of the Good Weighing Practice program
  • Contribute in further development of the general market approach and market management concept based on the direct feedbacks from your interactions with our Market Organizations in Asia Pacific region
  • Deliver support to regional, local Group Key Account Managers and Strategic Business Units with particular focus on priorities as defined in alignment with the program sponsors and other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure feedback loop of particular market needs and learnings to relevant teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Training and stakeholders to support continuous improvement of the program
  • Collaborate and support in the creation of marketing, sales support and training tools
What You Need to Succeed
  • You have a Bachelor degree (science, engineering, marketing) or a Technical Apprenticeship paired with adequate experience in relevant segments such as Food, Chemical or Pharma
  • You are experienced in marketing and sales within an industrial B2B environment
  • Proven record of leading project teams to tangible outcomes in an international environment, preferably in a matrix organization
  • Analytical approach combined with commercial acumen and strong service provider focus
  • Affinity to and/or experience in metrology and related regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese is required
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%
