Shipper/Assembler - 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday
Location Ohio Date posted November 19, 2024 Job ID 18017- Complete accurate shipping transactions and quality product assembly utilizing production supporting documentation; including but not limited to production orders, standard work, blue prints and other documents related to the shipping and assembly of products.
- Accurately enter data into the MRP (e.g. SAP) system and ensure that the bill of lading and shipped orders are routed appropriately.
- Understand and strictly adhere to all hazardous material shipping guidelines.
- Maintain accurate written records such as production orders, test sheets, shipping documentation, pack lists, and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) sheets. Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, assemble / pack products, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders.
- Adhere to 5S standards and practices.
- Assist in accurate collection of SQDC data.
- Product shipping, assembly, and test experience.
- Experience operating the dock plates while loading and unloading of trucks/trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, cranes and jib hoists
- Experience working in a fast-paced team oriented environment.
- Experience in reading, comprehending, and following shipping / assembly / test / quality assurance procedures and engineering prints.
- Basic computer experience Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques
- Ability to work overtime when required (some could be on weekends).
- Ability to work from order schedules.
- Ability to follow directions.
