Business Intelligence Analyst
Location Ohio Date posted January 09, 2025 Job ID 18340- Design, set-up and maintain a data server which builds the base for data analysis.
- Identify data-based business shortfalls and opportunities within the Industrial Division and provide insight to the respective business users allowing to take action and consequently accelerate top line growth
- Test data validity or its finding by e.g. reviewing them with stakeholders allowing to contextualize the data. Upon need provide recommendation to further improve data quality
- Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, IT, product teams, and business users, to gather requirements, present insights, and facilitate discussions that drive data-driven decision-making and align strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Efficiently provide monthly reports to business users on key strategy or initiatives to monitor performance and efficiency
- As necessary develop and maintain dashboards
- Work with other data specialists globally to continuously expand your knowledge how to use data to create new insights
- Other duties as assigned
- Master’s degree in business administration, Economics or related fields is preferred
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in a similar role, ideally supporting strategy creation, business development or a related function is required
- Ability to map and visualize data with industry standard business intelligence tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, etc.
- Basic corporate financial understanding and sound business savviness
- Must be willing to travel upto 20% regional and/ or international travel related to customer visits, market trend assessments, and meetings
- Ability to work independently
- Passionate about Business Intelligence, to make pragmatic recommendations to business owners using your business acumen
- Experience in working with global business users is a plus
