Software Specialist - Mettler Toledo Laboratory Software Solutions

Our precision instruments are the foundation of research and quality control labs all over the world.High-performanceweighingsolutionsofferabasisforsolidR&Dresults.Pipettesarean essentialtoolforlifescienceresearch. Thermalanalysis instruments helptoimprovematerials and their thermalbehavior. Automated chemistrysolutions accelerate the development of new chemicals. This is in some words MT Laboratory Division.

ThecandidatewillreporttotheHeadof ProductManagement andwillbepartoftheProduct Management Team.

Themainresponsibilitiesofthecandidateare:

  • Develop Mettler Toledo laboratory software solutions business by supporting the entire salescycleinbothpre (seminars, demonstrations, method development,ITsupport in terms of architecture, network, DataBase) andpostsalesphases(installation,qualification, instruments connections, troubleshooting, online and onsite application support and training).
  • Support the Sales Team in the proposition of software solutions by analyzing customer needs in terms of identification of laboratory workflows; developmethodson thecaseof specificcustomerneedsanddatamanagementinaccordancewiththeprinciplesof data integrity.
  • Identifyanddevelop newprojects inmarketsectors whereto propose software solutions and related instrumentation for the realization of customized workflows on customer specifications.Proposemarketingactivitiestooptimizethepenetrationofspecificmarket sectors.
  • BeingthelinkbetweentheMarketOrganizationandtheHeadquarterforwhatconcerns updates, new products, training and development.
  • Software involved: LabX (used to manage Weighing Solution and Analytical instruments, data collection and integrations into systems, ensuring easy data transfer, traceability and data integrity); PipetteX (Rainin Pipette Management); Calibry (Pipette calibration software)


What You Need to Succeed

  • High School Diploma/Bachelor's/Master'sDegreein IT;
  • Aptitudefortheuseanddevelopmentofsoftwareandcomputerpackages
  • VerygoodlevelofEnglishandknowledgeofmainWindowsOfficeprograms
  • Proactiveandentrepreneurialattitude
  • Basedin Lombardia
