Quality Assurance Engineer (Heijen)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
In this position, you will be working on site at our outsourced warehouse in Heijen, the Netherlands. You will fulfill a key position with the aim of ensuring our high quality standards towards customers are met between our third-party logistics provider (3PL), the METTLER TOLEDO Production Organizations and our Strategic Business Units. Within the Mini -Finish (value add) area you will solve issues, identify, implement and drive improvements. 

Ensure that quality issues and defects are identified, documented, tracked and sustainable resolved within the global QN process.
Develop and ensure implementation of proper corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in collaboration with the 3PL.
Support and drive on-site continuous quality improvement campaigns and trainings.
Process returns within the MT template and support further improving the process
Develop and establish standards (SOPs, WIs) in a close cooperation between 3PL and METTLER TOLEDO. 
First contact for onsite support of Mini Finish issues.
Perform Process analysis, drive implementation of identified  improvements.
Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting of Mini-Finish issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance to our Mini-Finish devices.
What You Need to Succeed
You have a bachelor degree in industrial engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering or another related subject.
Minimum 2 years of work experience as a quality engineer within an industrial environment, a production environment or a supply chain environment.
Understanding of business processes and technical demands.
Continuous Improvement and Problem-solving skills
Knowledge of standard tools 8D/CAPA.
Knowledge of SAP.
Able to work with MS-Office (outlook, power point and excel).
English language skills speaking and writing (must). German and Dutch language skills are a plus.
