Fabricator/Machinist
Location Columbus, Ohio Date posted April 29, 2024 Job ID 16260- Complete daily work from a production schedule utilizing blueprints, standard work, and work instructions
- Accurately enter data into the MRP (e.g. SAP) system and ensure that inventory is accurately stated
- Maintain quality throughout the process
- Conduct daily preventative maintenance on machinery
- Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders
- Actively participate in facility 5S and Lean initiatives
- Operate fork trucks and cranes
- Perform daily activities safely
- Identify and implement safety improvements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to setup and operate saws, brakes, shears and other machining equipment
- Ability to reach and interpret blueprints and other engineered documentation
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Ability to learn basic computer skills involving SAP and Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrates good attendance record Perform quality inspections on work
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 75lbs
