Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
  • Manages and supports the in-house hosted Application Development and Deployment Platform and ensure high availability and high performance of the platform.
  • Defines the architecture and the integration of the various applications composing the Application Development and Deployment Platform (e.g. Polarion ALM, Azure DevOps, Synopsys, JFrog, etc.) aligned to the product roadmaps and milestones. 
  • Enable software development teams with the application of best practices from the industry with thegoal to deliver high quality and secure software.
  • Supports the analysis and steps required to remediate identified security vulnerabilities.
  • Supports threat modeling to assist with implementing a security shift-left model.
  • Defines and documents best practices for the global distribution of the software (embedded software, PC software, datacenter applications or cloud solutions).
  • Support the software teams with the creation of Deployment Pipelines, from source code management to quality and security assurance to distribution of the released software builds to the final user.
  • Defines operational models for the management of the Platform (e.g. user request process, pipelines management, etc.).
  • Supports the training of the end users for the usage of the platform.
  • Contribute to / Develop the institutionalization of the related processes and metrics into the organizational Quality Management Systems.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering / IT or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of application security tools (like SAST, SCA, DAST) and processes (Synopsys tools are a plus).
  • Proficient in Scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, Pyton) for creation of Deployment Pipelines.
  • Linux and Windows Operative System knowledge.
  • Experience with the usage of DevOps Platforms like Azure DevOps, GitHub or GitLab.
  • Artifacts and Libraries management with JFrog or similar artifact repositories.
  • Software Development Lifecycle Process (SDLC).
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, high problem solving ability.
  • Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills across different functional teams.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Responsibilities require working evenings and weekends once a month.
  • Travel requirements up to 10%.
