Sr. Shipper

- Preparing shipments for domestic and international orders, including packing, labeling, and documentation. Processing deliveries created in SAP in a timely manner to meet customer delivery dates. This includes running SAP shipment monitor to ensure all items that can ship have a delivery created, are picked, packed, and PGI'd by shipping route cutoff times each day.
- Picking all items on deliveries from a pick list in preparations for shipment processing by end of day or as needed.
- Checking order selection accuracy prior to shipping.
- Providing correct paperwork for international orders (bills of lading, license to import, and commercial invoices).
- Adhering to all current DOT/IATA regulations and processing any hazardous material shipments as needed.
- Coordinating pickups and shipments with outside carriers.
- Running end of day reports to ensure all deliveries and shipments have been properly processed and posted (PGI - Post Goods Issued).
- Organizing and maintaining stock control of packing materials and finished goods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- SAP proficiency strongly preferred.
- Hazmat Certification required.
- 5-7 years' experience with shipping systems and procedures.
- Computer literacy required, including data entry.
- Understanding of shipping and stockroom operations.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Familiar with LEAN and LEAN concepts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
