Territory Sales Representative
Location San Diego, California, United States Date posted September 01, 2026 Job ID 23091 Pay Range $65,000 to $79,000 (Plus Commission)- Drive profitable revenue growth by achieving or exceeding assigned sales objectives across Rainin pipettes, pipette tips, calibration services, and related laboratory solutions.
- Develop and execute territory business plans that drive new customer acquisition, account expansion, and increased market penetration.
- Identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities through prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling activities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with laboratory end users, scientists, lab managers, procurement professionals, and other key decision-makers.
- Manage territory activities through effective pipeline management, CRM compliance, opportunity tracking, and business planning.Demonstrate the value of Rainin products and services through customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, training, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with internal partners including Sales Management, Marketing, Service, and Commercial Operations to support customer success and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and support territory growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required; Life Sciences or related scientific discipline preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of laboratory experience and/or customer-facing scientific sales experience preferred.
- Basic laboratory knowledge required; life science research experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities, build customer relationships, and achieve sales objectives.
- Strong territory management, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities within a field-based sales environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% within and assigned territory.
