This role is responsible for proactively selling Rainin service solutions, developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and achieving service sales growth and renewal targets across a broad base of accounts including Life Sciences, Government and Academia, Pharma, Biotech and others. The responsibilities are as follows:

  • Expand service penetration within existing accounts by identifying locations, departments, and customer needs.
  • Develop new customer relationships and explore untapped markets, accounts, and applications to generate incremental service revenue.

  • Collaborate with Service Operations to validate scope, pricing, resource requirements, delivery expectations, and customer commitments.
  • Identify and address obstacles that may prevent an opportunity from closing, escalating issues and coordinating internal resources as needed.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and key decision-makers by understanding their operational requirements, compliance obligations, and technical service needs.
  • Provide service sales training, coaching, and opportunity support to regional sales teams while maintaining direct ownership of service opportunities.
  • Track and report on regional service performance, pipeline health, new business development, renewal activity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Travel to customer sites throughout the region as needed, up to 30%.
