Service Depot Technician
Location Billerica, Massachusetts, USA Veröffentlichungsdatum 01. Juli 2025 Anzeigen-ID 19559 Pay Range $26 - $32/hr- Responsible for determining unit malfunctions and failures and performing repairs and calibrations as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Following ISO procedures to perform calibrations.
- Document and provide accurate detailed technical findings, observations and materials used for all services and calibrations performed during repair and unit evaluations.
- Provide a high level of customer service, and able to work as an effective, collaborative team member.
- Responsible for all documentation and follow-up associated with closing out individual RMA’s and shipment back to customer. Processing transactions in CRM and SAP.
- Ensures adequate levels of service inventory is available to meet day to day service needs.
- Technical training or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics or another technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of strong hands-on electro-mechanical background with experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, service repairs, calibrations and testing of a wide variety of assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Experienced with hand tools, fixtures and the use of diagnostic materials and test equipment.
- Must be able to understand and work from drawings, diagrams, technical bulletins, assembly procedures and general work instructions.
- Able to communicate effectively on failures and provide feedback regarding specific customer repairs, trends being observed/discovered, and unit repair history
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability in troubleshooting complex instrumentation, equipment or equivalent, ability to absorb and learn quickly and be able to continuously grow.
