Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

- Own the test automation framework end to end, extending and evolving it to keep pace with product architecture and new testing needs.
- Manage automated test source, pipelines, and work items within Azure DevOps.
- Analyze software architecture for testability, partnering with developers on design decisions that make new features easier to test.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions with developers.
- Define and track quality metrics and use them to drive continuous improvement in automated testing.
- Serve as the local subject matter expert for the team's globally distributed test automation resources
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects with accurate severity assessments
- Champion scalable automation strategies and best practices that accelerate release cycles and improve product reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience as an SDET or software engineer in a test-automation-focused role, including test strategy design, building automation frameworks, and writing production-quality code.
- Working knowledge of C#, sufficient to read, write, and debug within a C#-based codebase.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design principles and unit testing practices.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for complex software products.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to adopt new technologies and tools to improve quality engineering practices.
