Driver/Crane Operator

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
This position requires the individual to have the capability to load semi trailer and secure for transport large vehicle scale weldments, off load scales at various job sites with semi-trailer mounted crane, and assist with the install of scale modules onto pre-constructed foundations. This also requires the ability to read blueprints, accurately determine and layout equipment locations and safely use power and hand tools. Excellent customer relation skills are also required for pre-delivery and on site customer contact.

  • Valid driver’s license and a safe, satisfactory motor vehicle record. 
  • Knowledge of or experience operating mobile cranes; training may be provided to qualified candidates. 
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work with tools and equipment. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in the field. 
  • Commitment to safe work practices and the proper handling of vehicles, equipment, and loads. 
  • Demonstrated integrity and accountability when managing company property and expenses. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer and job sites, work outdoors, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
What You Need to Succeed
  • High School graduate with excellent math and reading/writing ability 
  • Current Class A CDL and at least 2 years of verifiable experience 
  • Prior fork-lift/crane certification preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to be certified required
