Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Join Troemner’s Engineering team to design, develop, and maintain electromechanical laboratory instruments. Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Product Management, and Production to deliver quality solutions. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Design and create the layouts for circuit boards. Knowledge of PCA/PCBA, BLDC, and heating devices is required. 
  • Create and review electrical designs, drawings, and BOMs. 
  • Maintain design templates and ensure smooth hand-over to production. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues. 
  • Collaborate across departments to meet customer and safety requirements. 
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience in PCB/PCBA design. 
  • Skilled with CAD (ideally Mentor Graphics), Microsoft Office, and test equipment. 
  • Knowledge of NEMA and electrical standards.

About Mettler Toledo
This position is for a New Jersey unit of Mettler-Toledo named Troemner. We are located about 15 miles from Philadelphia in Thorofare, NJ. Mettler-Toledo acquired Troemner in 2016. Since 1840, Troemner has long legacy of excellence to offer our employees and customers. Our weights are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility using the finest materials and equipment available. We provide unmatched measurements and metrological analysis. In addition to weights and calibration services, we also manufacture a full line of laboratory equipment including shakers, hotplates, and vortex mixers.
