Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
  • Support of end-to-end solution from creating designs for our products in our 3D Mechanical CAD systems (Creo and Inventor) until releasing it in our global PLM System (Teamcenter)
  • Provide tier 2 support (troubleshooting and resolving issues) in close collaboration with the power users (tier 1) in the units.
  • Identify areas for improvement with regards to functionalities, performance, automation, user friendliness and robustness of the solutions 
  • Contribute to the evolution of the global process template, design guidelines and design quality checks, collaborating with Product Owner, Solution Architect and Business Analyst.
  • Support with the installation of MCAD applications incl. integrations with Teamcenter to the end user clients
  • Maintain the necessary documentation to make the power users self-sufficient  (i.e. user manual, process documentation).
  • Maintain and execute test scripts.
  • Support enhancement and upgrade projects during all phases until delivery to production.
  • Execute user training for new functionalities and refresh trainings.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent education.
  • Good knowledge of the following tools
    • PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter is a plus)
    • Good knowledge of CAD for mechanical systems (preferred PTC Creo, Autodesk Inventor is a plus)
  • Experience with change management processes (CMII , ITIL or similar )
  • Ability to communicate across different teams (i.e., R&D, Operations)
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, high problem solving ability.
  • Experience as project manger is a plus
  • Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills in local language as well as in english
  • Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends.
  • Travel requirements (including intercontinental) up to 20%.
