Job Description:
•Plan, create, and manage product documentation with a focus on Reference Manuals, User Manuals, Installation Instructions
•Develop and implement content strategies, document structure
•Target group-oriented content creation and maintenance in the XML-based CMS (SCHEMA ST4)
•Research and gather information from SMEs for creation of product documentation
•Ability to understand complex technologies (hardware, software) and create clear and concise technical information
•Create the technical content in English language in compliance with technical writing standards
•Create technical illustrations from 3D CAD data and User interface (UI) images of the instrument
•Document the working methodology and assist in creating standard workflow procedures
•Perform peer review of documents created by other technical writers to ensure compliance with quality standards
•Improve documentation processes and standards including terminology consistency, review workflows and creation of process documents
•Mentoring of junior writers
•Facilitate regular reviews with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and ensure high-quality outputs that meet user needs
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualification / Requirements:
• Degree in technology (e.g., engineering, etc.)
• 6-10 years’ experience in technical writing
• Project management skills (Planning & prioritization of tasks, estimation, stakeholder communication and risk mitigation)
• Experienced SCHEMA ST4 or any other component content management system (CCMS) software
• Experienced in using illustration tools
• Experience working with R&D team and product managers in agile environment
• Attention to detail: Meticulous focus on formatting, terminology and accuracy
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently on projects
• High quality awareness
